CRST Van Expedited, Inc., a leading transportation company, has an immediate opening for a Director of Operations located in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Job Description: - Direct Management of a staff of 30+ Operation personnel and 2600 drivers in a team operations
- Budget and cost management
- Staffing - building and development of a strong, motivate staff
- Driver Management - oversee the management and retention of 2600 company drivers to include good driver moral, high level of service to customers, safety and efficient and profitable utilization of equipment
- Equipment - scheduling of all maintenance and repairs of all company owned equipment
- On-time service to customer

Requirements |
|
|
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Qualified candidates will have a four-year degree and at least 5 plus years of operational experience in transportation. Strong verbal and written communication skills, above average knowledge of math, and keen reasoning abilities will also be required.
