In this role, you will: * Investigate, negotiate, and settle losses/cases including losses of a more complex or severe nature as assigned by the Manager of PDC Claims (50%). * Conduct file reviews and audits, coordinate workloads, troubleshoot problems, and coach various levels of adjusters (45%). * Develop and appraise employee performance; assist with reward and discipline of employees; and assist with the hiring of staff (5%).
To be successful, candidates should: * Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. * Have a minimum of 4 years' experience as an adjuster in physical damage and/or cargo claims. * Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. * Possess the ability to make sound and competent decisions. * Be a leader who can coach, mentor, and foster professional development of a seasoned team. * Role model a total commitment to customer service.
