Responsibilities • Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue. • Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner. • Reviews all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met. • Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met. • Provides regular communication between the client and team to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations. • Provides regular updates, input and reports to the Assistant Controller on all account activity, including status and call reports as required. • Maintain professional relationship with customer taking orders for quotes and/or loads. • Manage the terminal including maintaining/improving the physical location and for the safety and security of the property/equipment. • Provide leadership through mentoring/coaching the drivers; implement policies and procedures. • Work with Safety, HR and Risk Management on driver recruitment, retention to include providing road tests and enforcement of policies and procedures with drivers.
Qualifications • Current Class A CDL. • Minimum 3 years of terminal experience in a transportation setting. • Customer service related skills required. • Effective verbal and written communications are essential. • PC skills to include: MS Office software such as Excel, Work, PowerPoint and other internal management systems. • Organizational and analytical skills are required. • Detail oriented. • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a negotiator. • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well. • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction. • Safety oriented; follows processes and procedures. • High level of integrity, accountability and ethics.
