SUMMARY Plan and execute logistics requirements necessary for the successful transportation and storage as accepted by company to meet customer’s satisfaction. In addition strives to ensure that all moves are executed in the most cost-effective way. Ensures that all activities are consistently executed within company existing Quality Management System (QMS).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Execute and implement operational activities according to customer requests and management requirements.
Maximize the number of profitable moves handled and to keep costs to a minimum while maintaining a high quality level of service.
Work closely with sales team, operations and customers to obtain a fast resolution and offer alternatives to unresolved problems.
Coordinate transportation activities, using all available resources, verifying progress and intervening in a timely manner when obstacles arise.
Prepare and arrange necessary documentation for the proper handling of container moves throughout entire supply chain.
Manage shipment progress, movement and cost details.
Resolve equipment and customer related issues.
Maintain operations files and updating information to systems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in the ISO tank container industry and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
Knowledge in the logistics industry necessary
Ability to manage high volume customer order placement
