Hirschbach Motor Lines is looking for experienced Dedicated Sales Managers to join our company in a new and exciting sales opportunity.
This position is responsible for developing business from new and existing accounts in your designated sales area. Must have the ability to achieve assigned revenues and performance goals, develop new business relationships through high level account contact and strong ability to close and secure business. To be successful in this position, an individual must be a self-starter/self-sufficient/self-reliant motivated worker and able to perform each essential task satisfactorily. Generate Gross Profit from New Business Sold.
•Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred but will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
•Minimum 5 years plus years transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding experience with a proven background managing an outside sales territory, prospecting, and closing sales preferred but not required •Proven Sales Success Required •Well established book of business with customer contacts and new business leads •Experience in selling transportation services •Able to present potential clients with logistics concepts including related transportation services •Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills •Team player with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
