Well-established Transportation Company is seeking an experienced individual to join our Recruiter Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Pro-actively reaching out to engage every qualified lead for a prospective driver. Prepare and present professional and accurate information about our driving opportunities as needed to potential applicants at CDL schools, job fairs, etc. Review all applicant information, Guide candidate in screening process, conduct interviews, request and review motor vehicle and other background reports, conduct employment verifications, request and obtain drug & alcohol results. Schedule and confirm orientation start date with applicants. Construct driver file ensuring all required forms and information is complete and accurate. Evaluate and recommend beneficial recruiting resources. Maintain/update applicant database and provide reports as requested such as sourcing reports, applicant tracking and other recruiting based data as directed by management.
Hours of employment are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and every other Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pay is determined by qualifications and experience. We offer a very competitive pay salary for the right individual
Candidate shall have a minimum of one year of relevant responsibilities for recruiting and making hiring recommendations. Experience in driver recruiting or transportation business will be highly regarded but not considered a prerequisite.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, outgoing with a pleasant and assertive/persuasive personality, strong presentation/negotiation skills. The ability to communicate clearly through verbal and written correspondence, good computer skills and be able to develop and maintain rapport with employees, and management.
