We are looking for another road warrior to join our Heavy Duty Aftermarket sales team. This is a remote (home-based) position within the Central USA region and requires considerable travel to customers and prospects within the assigned Central USA territories up to 60% of the time. Some travel to Canada may be required.
In this position, your focus will be to continuously grow the business and generate sales in the LED lighting Heavy Duty Aftermarket. You will support the National Aftermarket Sales Manager, collaborate with our existing regional sales teams, and attend key industry trade shows. You will conduct sales calls, work with business leadership to establish and align sales goals that meet business needs and assume account manager responsibilities for customer accounts within your area of responsibility. You will develop new business opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships while offering the best possible customer experience as an ambassador of the Maxxima brand.
To be successful in this role, you must be self-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a fast-paced environment with little oversight. You must have proven leadership qualities and be able to think strategically and influence decisions at a high level to achieve required performance metrics.
Bachelor’s degree in business or other related discipline
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Heavy Duty Truck Parts Industry
Must have an excellent time management aptitude, as well as very strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize effectively and identify activities most important in driving results
Ability to efficiently manage own travel expenses
Highly organized, with strong interpersonal, analytical and technical skills
Highly proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must have a valid driver's license
Experience with lighting and electrical is preferred
