We are seeking VP, Supply Chain Solutions to join our leadership team in Dallas, TX!
The VP, Supply Chain Solutions is responsible for leading teams who manage application delivery and support for the McKesson Distribution Centers across the U.S. Key products and services include Warehouse Management, Warehouse Control Systems, Transportation Management, Labor Management, RF applications, Carrier Parcel Systems, Regulatory reporting, Controlled substance processing, Serialization, Operational dashboards, DC server support and automation integration.
The VP Supply Chain Solutions will work closely with other leaders in McKesson Technology including Network Engineering & Support, Infrastructure, ERP applications and platform teams to ensure the DC networks are running at optimal levels and following incident management processes. He/she will also partner with other leaders, business engagement partners and teams to deliver key business and technology initiatives. Other areas of focus include building a high performing organization through Talent Management best practices and driving strategic alignment and development of technology roadmaps with the business partners and vendors.
Strategic Alignment & Business Partner Engagement
Gain business insight through learning onsite and through connecting with key team members
Partner with the business engagement leaders to develop and enhance technology roadmaps
Foster innovation and automation opportunities
Lead business strategic discussions within the BU's and in a cross BU setting
Ensure systems are running at optimal levels, meeting SLA's and ensuring the incident management process is followed through unplanned outages caused by change or other means.
Leverage platform and cloud enablement to scale and improve integration operations
Influences and contributes to the overall corporate platform architecture, strategy and technology roadmap
Develop solutions and implementation plans, ensure all standards, upgrades are met, managed within budget and aligned to technology deliverables appropriately.
Establish and meet the annual budget for organization.
Gain accuracy in forecasts & deliver projects on time and on budget
Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracts to procure resources and technology solutions to meet the company's strategic objectives
Maintains strong vendor relationships to keep apprised of new products, versions and releases
Develop a high performing organization through coaching, creation of development plans, establishing goals and objectives and providing stretch opportunities to high performing talent
Lead performance calibration exercise with people leaders, ensuring Pay for Performance guidelines are upheld
Communicate executive development materials to the people leaders and department
SDLC - Project Delivery
Deliver business and MT priorities on time, on budget and achieve objectives with quality standards
Support ongoing Portfolio discussions, aligning with business engagement partners and finance on any associated trade off's that are needed
Typically requires 15+ years of professional experience and 10+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).
Proven track record of managing Distribution Center technology application development and support (Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Labor Management, RF/device management and Automation integrations)
Min 5 years warehouse management leadership experience
Extensive knowledge of the asset lifecycle, taxonomy models and distribution practices
Progressive IT leadership experience across strategy development, transformation, strategy execution, and financial management.
Successful experience leading significant change in complex, matrixed and regulated organizations.
Demonstrated ability to modernize technology and use emerging technologies to address opportunities to grow the business in an organization with diversified and competing business needs
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of all phases of SDLC, Agile experience is preferred
Education 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
