MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job. Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply for jobs unless they believe they are able to perform every task in the job description.  A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
 
Education / Experience
Five years of progressively responsible related professional experience, preferably in the public sector, including at least one year of supervisory or program management experience.
 
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the assigned program area. Additional qualifying professional level experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
