Dixon Bros., Inc. is a regional leader in the tank truck business with 10 terminals located in the upper Rocky Mountain Region and into the Dakota's.  The position we need to fill is that of Terminal Manager / Driver Manager at our corporate office in Newcastle, Wyoming.  Candidates will need to live in or near Newcastle, Wyoming or be willing to relocate.

Key Tasks and Duties

• Oversee the terminal operations including scheduling and dispatch
• Manage office functions, personnel, facility maintenance
• Build relationships with new and existing customers
• Supervise scheduling maintenance of company trucks
• Recruit and manage drivers, maintain accurate driver records
• Ensure that our drivers are instructed in and are applying all measures to safely deliver our customers loads
• Responsible for helping drivers utilize their hours of service effectively and that they stay compliant with DOT regulations
• Lend assistance to drivers when they need help with directions or equipment issues

Qualifications

• Organizational and leadership skills
• Need to be able to make effective decisions by analyzing information and priorities
• Able to effectively communicate with drivers, office personnel and customers
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive
• Commercial truck driving experience, trucking industry management experience and dispatching experience in the trucking industry
• Reliable and available to be on call during non-traditional work hours
